Celery Gratin with Anchovies

Anchovy Fillets in Olive Oil 145g

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE

1 soft celery
10 Delicius anchovy fillets in olive oil
1 cup of breadcrumbs
Extra virgin olive oil
Butter
Salt
Ground pepper at the moment

PREPARATION

Cleanse and peel the celery from its tougher threaded parts, cut it in small pieces and boil it for 10-15 minutes in salted hot water.
Drain it very well.
Toast the breadcrumbs in a pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Separately sauté the celery pieces in a hot pan with 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 5 chopped anchovy fillets.
Butter an oven pan/casserole and place the pieces of celery in layers on it, adding the toasted breadcrumbs between each layer.
Place the remaining whole anchovy fillets on the top layer and a couple curls of butter.
Make the dish gratin in the oven at 200° for about 20 minutes.
